S.E.T. Select Energy is an independent, family-owned energy trading company with almost 40 years of experience, a strong reputation, and a proven track record in international oil markets. Central Energy AG in Zug is a 100% subsidiary of S.E.T. and an integral part of the group’s trading operations, focusing on petroleum product flows in Europe and Africa. Our young, ambitious, and entrepreneurial team works to connect our customers with the best possible energy solutions. As we continue to grow, diversify, and rethink our activities, we are looking for an experienced Trading Assistant to support and drive our development.
Your responsibilities
- Developing CPP and DPP markets in Latin America
- Developing CPP and DPP markets in Asia
- Leading SET’s containerized bitumen portfolio (Latam)
- Assisting senior traders in deal execution and trade lifecycle management
- Identifying arbitrage opportunities and new trade routes in the energy/bitumen segment
- Managing relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, clients and internal teams
- Drafting and legal review of commercial contracts
- Qualifications & Skills
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of proven trading experience in commodities
- Familiar with CPP and DPP products
- Strong experience across operations, contracts, shipping, LCs and the full trade lifecycle
- Experience in both bulk and container trading
- Confident working with E/CTRM systems and ERPs
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently in a small, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are an advantage
- Proven market exposure to Latin America and Asia
